Arguably one of England’s finest rock n roll drummers, Matt Goom is the drummer for The Quireboys. Purveyors of the best good time rock n roll, The Quireboys are one of the hardest working rock n roll bands in the world. Matt is influenced by the likes of John Bonham from Led Zeppelin for his grooves and powerful sound , Bill Ward from Black Sabbath for his hard rocking rhythms and Mitch Mitchell for his blistering technique and style . Matt draws his musical influences from the great 1970′s A – Z of English rock n roll bands .

Matt has drummed with The Chilli Peppers, Deep Purple and supported Axl Rose and Guns N’ Roses in Switzerland in 2012, as well as playing at venues all over the World; including our very own Donnington Park in front of 92,000 people.
